Random Act of Kindess Day - 17th February 2018
17 February 2018
Did you know that 17th February is 'International Random Act of Kindness Day'? I know that cat lovers don't need an excuse to be kind - cats remind us everyday to give them a tummy tickle! Perhaps you could make 17th February a day to be extra kind and do something to support Cats Protection.
Here are some things that would make a big difference to us:
1. You could make a donation
We are only able to continue our work through
, £5 could help to provide specialist milk for an orphaned kitten, £10 can pay for worm & flea treatment for a cat, £30 will pay towards neutering costs to stop unwanted kittens. Simply click on our donate button at the top of our facebook page
2. Could you give us some of your time to help with our Trap, Neuter, Release program?
The feral cat population is sadly growing in south birmingham and we love some help! We're desperately in need of volunteer trappers to help with
Trap, Neuter/Spay & Return
, which involves capturing feral cats & helping them by getting them Neutered/Spayed & then returning them to their environment. It's a win win for everyone: fewer pregnant cats means fewer unwanted cats!

3. Could you foster a cat?
As a fosterer you will be directly helping cats and kittens in need; providing them with hands on care and working with others to rehome them, ultimately, providing them with a second chance of a happy and healthy life.
If you have a spare room and would like the opportunity to help cats and kittens by fosterering short term then we would like to hear from you.
All expenses including veterinary treatment, food and litter will be met by Cats Protection.

You provide the love!
